    When E.J.Paxton (I) opened his business in Sydney in 1908, little did he know that his son, grandson and great grandsons would carry on the family business now in its 100th year and spanning four generations. Originally operating as E.J.Paxton Opticians and then branching out to include selling cameras in 1957 E.J.Paxton (II) headed up Paxton Photographics. In 1965 E.J.Paxton (III) (the current John Paxton) joined the firm and eventually changed the name to Paxtons Camera Video Digital and opened stores in the City at Wynyard, Bondi Junction, Brookvale, Chatswood, Hornsby, North Ryde and Parramatta. John’s Wife Marcia and two sons Michael and Matthew also work at Paxtons making it a true family business as they continue the founder’s tradition of providing value, service and advice to Paxtons valued customers including Free Double Warranty, Free Courses and Free Prints with every camera sold at Paxtons.

    Free double warranty on all cameras






    As part of the Paxtons Point of Difference Paxtons will Double the manufacturers' warranty (*Double Warranty only applies to cameras with a standard one years manufacturers warranty). If price matching or discounting free prints may not be offered and will be at the Store managers discretion.











    Up to 200 Digital Prints with all cameras






    When you purchase a camera from Paxtons you will be given a card entitling you to 100 or 200 free prints depending on the purchase price of your camera (doesn't include price of accessories or bags). 100 Free 4X6” prints for camera purchases up to $799 and 200 Free 4X6” prints for camera purchases over $800. The prints are to be used at the rate of 25 prints per month (prints are not to be used all at one time). You have 12 months to use the printing. If price matching or discounting on cameras free prints may not be offered and will be at the Store Managers discretion.











    FREE Digital and Video Camera Courses






    Paxtons offer a FREE Digital Camera or Video course with every camera purchased. If desired an additional person may attend with you for half price which is $65.00. Course is subject to availability at the time of booking, we suggest you book early to avoid disappointment. We do every thing to accommodate you on the date required however, there is a cut off number and in this case you will be offered an alternate date. If price matching or discounting the FREE course may not be offered and will be a the Store Managers discretion.











    We'll Match Any Genuine Competitor's Price (Instore or Online)






    Paxtons will match any genuine competitors price with competitors who purchase cameras through the Australian importers and have a genuine Australian Manufacturers Warranty.



    If price matching or discounting the Paxtons Free Prints, Course and Double warranty may not be offered and will be at the Store Managers discretion.


    The product must be the same item that is being matched i.e. Brand, Make and Model must be identical.


    Paxtons staff will ring the competitor to confirm availability and price in order to price match.


    The competitor’s advertisement or written quote must be sighted.


    The competitor must have the item in stock at the time.













    45 Day Money Back Guarantee






    Paxtons offer a 45 Day Money Back Guarantee on all purchases. Items must be returned in their original purchased condition (with no scratches or dents or fingerprints, the box or packaging must be in original condition and complete with instruction book, DVD, warranty card, cables, camera strap and battery). Goods must be accompanied by the original sales docket for a full refund. Items must be returned within 45 days of the original purchase. If items are returned outside the 45 day period or are incomplete they must be returned to Paxtons City Store. Paxtons may refund them however a minimum 20% handling fee will apply and the decision to allow a return will be entirely at the Company’s discretion. Refunds will be be returned by the original method of payment .
